Back to Liberty at the Lake

Marsha and her sister Cindy brought along their newest rug hooking projects.  We loved seeing these antique looking rugs.  Marsha is hooking a whimsical rabbit rug and Cindy's hiding behind her spring bird rug.

Cathy Heiman is a fellow hand work lover.  Among other projects she is working on, is the Paper Doll quilt like Diane's.  Cathy is making 2 quilts for 2 special little girls in her life; she uses needleturn applique, and then accents it with the hand button hole stitch. Her blocks are beautiful!

Helen is another of our die hard hand stitching friends!  We may not get as much done as the machine girls, but we love every minute of it.
Helen is working on this center of a primitive floral design.

Sharon loves to work on primitive designs, too.  This was a block of the month from Joined at the Hip.  Wish she'd give it to me!

We had 5 ladies attend this year from the Hutchinson, Kansas, area.  They all love Jo's designs, and here are some of their other projects.

LaRue Nuest is making a series of small quilts with her own design of jars.  Each one features a different "collection."

Connie Shea loves making these photo transfer small quilts.  One features a tractor theme, and the other is of her grandson.

Patti Krebaum made this wonderful quilt from one of Blackbird Designs' books.

Linda Headings told us about her experience of being featured in the Kansas City Star book, "Kansas Spirit,"  and showed this beauty.
